Professional dog training in the comfort of your home

Private lessons gives you one-on-one time to focus specifically on your training goals, whether they're house-training your new puppy, helping your shy dog build confidence, reducing your dog's reactivity on leash, or setting up a daily routine for your new rescue dog.

I work with clients on more challenging behavioral issues like aggression, separation anxiety, and multi-dog household problems on a case-by-case basis. Because of the additional time and effort I commit to when working on these cases, my training plan and rates are structured slightly differently than what you see below. Please contact me directly to find out more.

A travel fee of $15/session will be added to the service rate if your home is located more than 35 minutes from Ferrisburgh VT. A travel fee of $25/session will be added if your home is more than an hour from Ferrisburgh.

Initial consultation: 90 min. - $200

I will come to your home to meet you and your dog. I'll take a thorough history of your dog and training goals, and we will discuss our strategy for tackling those goals. After our session, I create a personalized resource center, which contains your initial training plan with videos, handouts, and web links relevant to your training goals. I also offer unlimited email support following the consult.

Follow-up lessons: 60 min. - $100/single, $285/3pk, $465/5pk, $900/10pk

After your initial consultation, you have the option to continue working with me to meet your training goals. During follow-up lessons I will troubleshoot any issues you're running into, adjust your training plan if necessary, send you post-session notes and additional resources, and ensure that you continue to progress towards your goals. I ask that clients beginning a training plan be ready to commit to meeting with me weekly or biweekly, as well as working with their dog for at least 5 minutes each day. This consistency will allow you to make steady progress with your dog and make the most of our time together.
